The item price is
one part of the total.
The reference prices on Apex cover the item only. Allow for shipping and other fees, then confirm the full amount on Kakobuy before paying.
What to check before paying
- Item and domestic delivery: confirm the selected style, size, quantity and seller-to-warehouse charge in the current order.
- Payment and currency conversion: check the total charged by the chosen payment method. Kakobuy’s checkout exchange rate may differ from the rate used for prices on Apex.
- International delivery: choose a route after checking the destination, parcel weight, dimensions and item restrictions. See our shipping guide.
- Optional services: check whether extra photos, packing changes or storage extensions have a separate price before selecting them.
- Tax and other charges: read the specific route and checkout terms. Do not assume an item price or a shipping label includes every charge.
Build a budget with the amounts you can actually confirm
Copy this checklist into your notes for the items and parcel you plan to buy. Beside each amount, save its currency, quantity or charging unit, source and date. Mark it confirmed for this order, estimate or still to confirm. A historical rate belongs in the estimate column of your notes, even when its price is clearly recorded.
| Cost to record | What belongs in your note | Before adding it |
|---|---|---|
| Items | Exact style, size, quantity and current unit price for each item. | Use the selected option’s price. Keep Apex’s reference price separate from the current order amount. |
| Seller → warehouse | The domestic delivery charge and which items or order it covers. | Do not apply one order-level charge to every item. A missing charge is not a confirmed zero. |
| Purchasing service | Any purchasing fee shown for your order, including a clearly confirmed zero. | A zero purchasing fee does not establish free payment processing, optional services or shipping. |
| Optional services | Only the services you choose, their unit price and number of photos, items or parcels charged. | Check the recorded service units below, then confirm the current charge. Do not multiply a parcel fee by the item count. |
| International shipping | One selected route, destination, packed weight, dimensions, quote date and currency. | Replace a planning estimate with the final quote; do not add both. Allocate a shared parcel charge once across your items. |
| Payment & conversion | The payment currency, displayed exchange rate, any separate fee and actual amount charged. | Check which charges are already included. Do not add a converted payment total to the original-currency costs it pays for. |
| Taxes & other charges | What the specific route and payment terms include, and anything still payable separately. | Keep unconfirmed amounts open. A route name alone does not establish which charges are included. |
An unknown amount keeps the total open
Suppose you have confirmed your chosen item and domestic delivery, but only have a historical international-shipping rate. Your note has a confirmed subtotal and an estimated shipping line; it does not yet have a confirmed delivered total. If you then request extra QC photos, record that service separately when its price and quantity are confirmed.
For a shipping comparison, use the United Kingdom 2 kg snapshot walkthrough. It shows why a cheaper recorded route can remain only a candidate: delivery estimates, parcel eligibility and missing tax information still need checking.
Before comparing two baskets, use the same currency and the same list of included costs. Keep the conversion date with an estimate. If one basket has unknown delivery or service charges, identify that gap instead of declaring it cheaper from the item subtotal alone.
When you pay: reconcile the charge with the items and services it covers. If you fund a wallet and later spend that balance, count the funding payment and the spending as two records of the same money, not two separate purchase costs. Keep deposits, credits or refunds separate until their treatment is confirmed in your own account.

Will a coupon reduce my total?
Check the offer in your own Kakobuy account. A headline voucher amount is not an automatic cash discount: eligibility, minimum spend, expiry and the eligible charge matter. We do not currently offer a coupon or extra discount through our affiliate links.
Where to confirm the final amount
Use the current Kakobuy listing and checkout for the item, and the selected parcel route for delivery. For the site’s delivery-price tool, visit Kakobuy’s official shipping estimator ↗. An estimate is still not a final payment total.
