Choose the design you would wear

Start with the dial and band, then compare how the case and bezel change the look on a wrist. Treat model words and material words in seller titles as information to verify, not as proof of a specification.

Look forWhat to compare
Rotating-bezel look ↗What to compareCompare the black-and-brown GMT-style listing with green Submariner-style listings. Check bezel markings, dial color, date window and band before comparing prices.
Simpler dial ↗What to compareThe silver- and pink-dial Oyster-style listings put more emphasis on dial color and bracelet shape. Compare the actual hour markers and case proportions in full-size photos.
Dress-watch shape ↗What to compareThe Cellini-style moon-phase listing shows a round light dial and dark strap. Ask for case and strap dimensions; the photo cannot confirm that a pictured complication operates.

Check wrist fit with dimensions, not a wrist photo

A case can look modest in a close-up and large on your wrist. Ask the seller for the case diameter excluding the crown, lug-to-lug length and case thickness, and ask where each measurement starts and ends. Measure a watch you already wear comfortably using the same points. For a bracelet, measure your wrist circumference and ask for the wearable length and whether links can be removed or added; for a strap, compare hole positions and strap lengths. A number such as “40 mm” in a title is a claim to check against the listed dimensions, not a measurement we made.

The green-dial listing on a dark strap and the green-dial listing on a metal-looking bracelet should not be treated as the same option merely because both say “Submariner”. Compare dial shade, bezel, case sides, end links and fastening. For a gift, get the intended wearer’s wrist measurement before relying on a one-size bracelet label.

Ask for the specification behind a title

Watch photos can show whether a date window, moon-phase graphic, markers or second hand is visible; they cannot establish the movement inside or whether a claimed function works. Ask the seller what functions operate, what the case and band are made from, what is included, and whether any independent documentation is available. Do not infer water resistance or precious-metal content from a title or shine in a photo.

A CLOSER LOOK BEFORE YOU SHIP

Use watch QC to compare the dial, bracelet and clasp

Use these earlier-order QC references to plan your checks. Confirm the selected option and inspect your own order before shipping.

01A watch: compare the dial and covered clasp area

Check it in a QC photo

MaisonLooks CDN · Shared listing reference; exact style match unverified.

Recorded QC: · kakobuy

The close-up shows a black dial, light markers, a numbered dark bezel and a bracelet with contrasting center links. Compare those visible details with your saved option. The reverse view shows the case back and blue covering near the clasp.

No SKU is recorded, so this shared listing reference does not verify option 8. The covered clasp needs another view. Photos cannot establish movement accuracy, water resistance, metal content or authenticity.

For your watch: request the clasp uncovered, open and closed, both case sides, case dimensions and the wearable bracelet circumference when fastened.

When your watch reaches the warehouse, open its own QC photos and compare them with the dial, bezel, band and option you selected. If a crucial angle is missing, request a photo of that exact detail before deciding whether to ship.

  • Ask for a straight dial view. Compare the chosen dial color, marker positions, hands, visible text and any date window. If glare hides a marker or lettering, request a closer photo under softer light.
  • See both case sides and the fastening. A side view helps you inspect the crown area and case thickness; an open clasp or strap view lets you check the band type and visible condition. Request the view of the exact area that is missing.
  • Measure the band if fit is uncertain. For a bracelet, ask for its wearable inner circumference when closed at the selected link setting and the available adjustment range. Compare with a watch that fits, using the same method; the straight end-to-end length of an open watch is a different measurement. For a strap, request the usable fastening positions and ask which wrist range they accommodate.
  • Check your own order before shipment. Compare the received dial, bezel, band, option code and included pieces with the selection you paid for. If a function or material claim matters, seek a separate seller answer; a photograph cannot test it.

Watch buying questions

Will a watch listing include a box or extra bracelet links?

Check the exact seller option and its included-pieces description before ordering. If a box, tool or spare links matter to you, ask the seller to confirm them for that option. When the order reaches the warehouse, request a photo of the pieces received; a watch-only main image does not establish what is included.

How do I choose between a metal-looking bracelet and a strap?

Compare the look and fastening you prefer, then ask for usable band length, adjustment points and case dimensions. The green-dial examples above show how a similar dial can come with a different band. A photo cannot establish the band’s material or comfort.

Does a model name prove the movement or function?

No. A seller title and static image can describe or show the intended design, but they cannot demonstrate movement type, accuracy, power reserve or whether a displayed complication operates. Ask the seller for the exact specification and evidence needed for your decision.

Can QC photos authenticate a Rolex watch?

No. QC images help you compare visible dial, case and band details or identify a wrong option. They do not establish authenticity, metal composition or water resistance. Seek separate qualified verification when those matters are essential.

Which measurements matter for a smaller wrist?

Compare case diameter, lug-to-lug length, thickness and wearable band length with a watch that already fits. Ask whether bracelet links can be removed and which strap holes are usable. A cropped wrist photo or case-size label is not enough.

What if the received dial or band differs from my order?

Before international shipment, send Kakobuy the selected option and order number alongside the warehouse photo. Point to the dial, bezel or band mismatch and ask about clarification, return or exchange terms and any deadlines. Do not approve shipment while the key option remains unclear.

Does the displayed price include shipping?

The USD amount is a reference item price. Confirm the current option price, domestic delivery, international shipping and any applicable charges on Kakobuy. The fees guide and buying guide explain the steps to check.
